RICHARD STOKER, DMD
Dr. Richard Stoker loves Idaho and is excited to be the new owner of Cascade Dental. Dr. Stoker grew up on a farm in Lewisville, Idaho and attended Rigby High School where he participated in basketball and football. He later served an LDS mission to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon returning, he attended and graduated from Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), dental school at the University of Pittsburgh, and later completed his residency at the University of Colorado, where he also practiced dentistry for five years before returning to Idaho Falls to establish Stoker Family Dental. Dr. Stoker enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors where they love to snowmobile, motorcycle, camp, boat, scuba dive, and mountain bike with his wife Sara and their five children: Kamren, Briley, Ali, Kinley, and Logan.
CHRIS HOLDAWAY, DDS
When it comes to providing dental care, Dr. Holdaway focuses on preventive dentistry and helping patients adopt habits that will allow them to enjoy a lifetime of outstanding oral health. After starting his career as a nurse, he chose to become a dentist attending the University of North Carolina School of dentistry and graduating in 2009. He believes in taking an integrated approach to dentistry and ensuring that his patients understand the correlation between oral health and overall well-being. He aims to know patients on a personal level and help them reach their oral health-related hopes and objectives. With his friendly, approachable and accommodating chairside manner, Dr. Holdaway’s patients know they are in good hands.
TEJASI AVASARE, DMD
Dr. Avasare is a foreign-trained dentist from India. She moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue her Masters in Dental Public Health from the University of Iowa. Towards the end of her graduation, she met the love of her life. After getting married in 2014, they moved to Idaho. Dr. Avasare instantly fell in love with Idaho’s scenic beauty, especially the mountains. She is now back to Idaho after moving out for a couple of years to complete her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Avasare believes that the heart of any dental treatment is designing an optimal treatment plan.
She loves to eat at IHOP with her husband on Sunday mornings and loves the aspect of all generations of a family getting together on the same table.
